Alteration and Tailoring

Clothing Restoration
Fur Cleaning:

Can you remove the smoke smell from my drapes?

Can you remove mildew from my drapes?
Yes. We will clean and treat your drapes to remove the mildew and help to prevent it from coming back. However, the only permanent solution for a mildew problem is to deal with the moisture problems that lead to mildew in the first place.

How do you clean luggage?
Before you bring your luggage in, make sure you have emptied the interior and any pockets it may have. When we receive it, we will gently clean the exterior of the suitcase, and vacuum and clean the inside as well. We will also remove any odors that may have accumulated in your luggage.
Shoes:
Can you remove stains from my shoes?
Yes. We take the utmost care to gently remove stains from your shoes without damaging the material.
Do you shine and polish my dress shoes?
Yes. Each pair of shoes you entrust to us will be returned in the best condition possible. For dress shoes, this means that we shine and polish them before returning them to you.
Plush Toys:
Can the chemicals you use be harmful to my kids or pets?
No. We only use cleaning products that have been verified to be non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Even if (or when!) your children’s toys end up in their mouths, you will have nothing to worry about.
Will my toys smell like chemicals?
No. Your toys will just smell fresh and clean.
Dry Cleaning

Delivery/Pick Up
We know that our clients lead busy lives and don’t always have time to make it in to drop off or pick up their cleaning. That’s why Unique Cleaners & Tailors is now offering delivery to our customers in & around Coral Springs.
Is there a minimum order size to receive the pick-up and delivery service?
No. Pick-up and delivery services are available for all of our clients, no matter the size of the order. We value your business, and don’t discriminate against our clients based on the size of their cleaning order.
Must I be present for the pick-up or delivery?
No. We are happy to pick-up or deliver from any location that you desire. If nobody is at home when we arrive, we will pick up or leave your garments from whatever spot you choose. Ideally, you should leave your garments in a covered area that is not visible from the street, such as a garage, porch, or back door. As an alternative, we are happy to make pick-ups or deliveries at your workplace. Just let us know your preferences when you are placing your order.
Do you offer regular pick-up and delivery schedules?
Yes, we do. While many of our customers simply choose to schedule a pick-up when it becomes necessary, most of our pick-up/delivery customers choose to establish either a weekly or biweekly schedule. We will add you to a route with schedule pick-up and delivery days, so that you always know when your garments will be ready.

Cleaning
When you really love a purse or handbag, it can be hard to let it go – even once it’s starting to show its age and look a bit shabby. Unique Cleaners & Tailors offers handbag and purse cleaning services to our customers in the Coral Springs & surrounding area. We will get your much-loved accessories back in top shape and looking great again.
Why do I have to clean my purse?
Of course, anyone will clean their purse when it has become visibly dirty. Spills and stains are all too common, and nobody wants to lug around a filthy handbag. However, it is important to clean your bag regularly simply for hygienic purposes. Handbags and purses are a nearly perfect breeding ground for bacteria and other germs. Can you restore color to my bag? How long does it take?
Yes, we can restain your leather bag to give it a uniform appearance. After your bag is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, the leather will be prepped and conditioned, and a customized color will be mixed and applied to your bag in multiple coats. After the final coat, a protective coat will be applied to seal the color, and the bag is left to dry entirely, making sure that the color is protected. This can take days, depending on the material. After drying, the bag will be inspected to make sure that the color is completely uniform, and the bag will be finished to ensure to get it looking like new. This is a very intensive process and can take days or weeks depending on our workload.
Can cleaning harm my bag?
We work hard to ensure that we clean your bag without doing any harm to it. We use the safest possible cleaning methods, and your bag will be handled with the utmost care at all times.
